Job Summary

We are seeking a Corporate Tax Analyst for a direct hire opportunity in Guaynabo, PR within the chemicals and petro-chemicals industry. The Corporate Tax Analyst will work closely with tax leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate tax reporting, support audits, and analyze the tax impact of business decisions. Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review local income tax returns, corporate tax filings, and indirect tax returns across multiple jurisdictions.
- Calculate, analyze, and document quarterly and annual tax provisions, including tax accounts and reserve analysis.
- Research complex tax issues, interpret tax laws and regulations, and apply findings to business transactions and reporting requirements.
- Support tax audits by gathering documentation, responding to inquiries, and assisting with issue resolution.
- Monitor tax compliance requirements, including registrations, filings, deadlines, and jurisdictional obligations.
- Analyze the tax impact of business decisions, structures, and transactions while identifying potential tax savings opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Prepare and review income tax, corporate tax, and indirect tax filings for multiple jurisdictions.
- Calculate and document quarterly and annual tax provisions and related account analyses.
- Conduct tax research and apply tax laws to specific transactions, structures, and business decisions.
- Support tax audits, compliance filings, tax registrations, and reporting deadlines.

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field.
- Professional-level accounting qualification or progress toward a recognized designation such as CGA, ACCA, CPA, or CA.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in tax or accounting roles.
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to work with complex data, reconciliations, and tax calculations.
- Experience with major accounting systems such as SAP, GP, or similar ERP systems.
- Strong command of English and Spanish, written and oral.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and filing timelines with accuracy and urgency.
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams across regions.
- Self-driven, proactive, creative, and able to resolve issues quickly in a collaborative environment.
