Title: Corporate Paralegal
Type: Direct Hire
Location: on site in Downtown Orlando – may offer 1 day hybrid after training period
Salary: $73,000-$90,000 – will depend on experience
Details: Candidates must have at least 2 years’ experience as a transactional paralegal supporting multiple attorneys, preferably in a Corporate, Tax, and M&A practice area. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and excited to collaborate within a team environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Incorporate and organize various business and nonprofit entities, draft and file regulatory documents, maintain corporate records, and manage corporate dissolutions.
• Maintain and file corporate records, including resolutions, board of director changes, and annual reports.
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions, including preparing ancillary legal documents and organizing closing documents.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on various corporate and tax legal matters.
• Track and submit billable hours and client expenses in a timely and accurate manner.
• Stay informed about developments in paralegal best practices by attending relevant training sessions and pursuing continuing education opportunities.
• Participate in orientation and training for new attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
• Other billable and non-billable projects and general administrative duties, as assigned by supervisors.
Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal certification (Preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Paralegal in a relevant practice area (Required).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and PDF (Required)
• Proficient in legal document management and timekeeping softwares (Required). Experience with iManage preferred.
