We are seeking a Corporate Event Specialist for a 3 to 4 month contract opportunity in Lake Mary, FL. This role is ideal for an experienced event professional who enjoys managing the details behind successful corporate events, trade shows, conferences, and strategic meetings. The Corporate Event Specialist will work in a collaborative, fast-paced business environment with visibility across sales, marketing, leadership, vendors, and external partners. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute corporate events, trade shows, conferences, and strategic meetings from initial planning through post-event follow-up.
- Coordinate event logistics including venues, contracts, catering, A/V, room layouts, transportation, hotel accommodations, room blocks, and event supplies.
- Manage attendee registration, invitations, RSVP tracking, attendee communications, confirmations, reminders, surveys, and follow-up messaging.
- Partner with internal teams, vendors, conference organizers, venues, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth event execution.
- Support event marketing, social media, promotional activities, branded materials, booth setup, and attendee engagement initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Duration: 3 to 4 month contract.
- Schedule: Hybrid, 2 days per week in the office.
- Location: Lake Mary, FL.

- Coordinate event timelines, logistics, vendor communication, attendee management, and on-site execution.
- Support event marketing, branded promotional materials, booth engagement, and post-event reporting.
- Manage multiple event deadlines, internal stakeholders, and external partners in a fast-paced environment.
- 3+ years of experience in corporate event planning, trade show management, event marketing, or a related field.
- Experience supporting B2B events, trade shows, conferences, and corporate meetings.
- Strong project management, organization, scheduling, and follow-through skills.
- Experience coordinating venues, contracts, catering, A/V, transportation, hotels, room blocks, and event materials.
- Ability to manage registration, attendee communications, RSVP tracking, VIP support, and post-event follow-up.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a polished, professional presence.
- Experience working with vendors, venues, executives, clients, prospects, sales teams, marketing teams, and industry partners.
- Ability to manage event budgets, support contract negotiation, and track event performance.
- Comfortable adapting to last-minute changes and resolving issues quickly during live events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience coordinating branded merchandise, promotional inventory, shipping, and distribution for events.
- Experience supporting social media updates, event content, photography coordination, or digital marketing tied to corporate events.
- Experience facilitating meetings between prospects, attendees, executives, and sales representatives.
- Prior experience supporting national conferences or multi-location event programs.
