Corporate Controller – $185K–$195K | 100% Onsite | West Valley City, UT

Are you a strategic accounting leader ready to make a significant impact? We’re seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to lead a high-performing Accounting Department and partner closely with executive leadership in driving financial excellence across a multi-entity organization.

In this role, you will oversee all accounting operations, deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, support strategic initiatives, and ensure strong internal controls. What You’ll Do

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Oversee dealership accounting policies, procedures, and standards.

Prepare, review, and distribute consolidated and stand-alone financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP, dealership, and manufacturer requirements.

Present financial results and insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Partner with upper management to establish company-wide financial goals for both profit and cost centers.

Analyze financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and implement corrective action plans as needed.

Support the development of budgets, forecasts, and business plans.

Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial operations with broader business strategies.

Manage annual audits, tax preparation, and any state, local, or federal audit processes.

Maintain and enhance a strong internal control environment to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.

What You Bring

Proven experience leading and managing an accounting team.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.

Experience in performance management, including coaching, goal setting, and evaluations.

Strong critical-thinking skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Extensive experience with multi-entity accounting, consolidations, and lease accounting.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA highly preferred.

Minimum 7+ years of accounting/finance experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Combination of public accounting and previous controller experience strongly preferred.

Compensation: $185,000–$195,000 annually

Reports to: CFO
