Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Core Systems Analyst for a direct hire opportunity in Roseville, CA. This role is ideal for an early-career IT professional who wants to build hands-on experience supporting core banking systems, business applications, reporting, troubleshooting, and technology improvement initiatives within the banking and consumer lending industry.
The Core Systems Analyst will work closely with IT, business users, and vendors to help maintain reliable system performance, resolve application issues, support upgrades, and improve day-to-day operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for core banking applications and related ancillary business systems.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot application issues, and assist with timely resolution of user-reported problems.
- Support software upgrades, patches, testing, implementations, and system enhancement initiatives.
- Create and maintain documentation, procedures, user guides, reports, and system support materials.
- Assist with data validation, report generation, system audits, compliance requirements, and security standards.
- Collaborate with internal business teams and external vendors to gather requirements, escalate issues, and recommend process improvements.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: $29.00 to $40.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support and troubleshoot core banking systems, business applications, and user-reported system issues.
- Assist with system maintenance, software upgrades, patches, testing, and implementation activities.
- Generate reports, validate data, maintain documentation, and support audits or compliance-related activities.
- Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and vendors on system enhancements and operational improvements.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in systems support, business systems analysis, IT operations, application support, or a related area.
- Basic understanding of databases, software applications, reporting concepts, and system troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to support users across multiple business functions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated technology environment.
- Commitment to following organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to financial services, banking operations, consumer lending, or core processing systems.
- Experience with SQL queries, reporting tools, or data extraction.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, change management processes, and implementation support.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, IT support practices, vendor coordination, and issue escalation processes.
