Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller/Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Accounting and have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Controller in an accounting or finance environment. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial operations and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and compliance
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Coordinate and lead the annual audit process
Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
Supervise and mentor accounting staff
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisers, and financial institutions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required); CPA or MBA preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Controller or in a senior accounting role
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar)
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with ERP systems implementation or upgrades
Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
Familiarity with payroll systems and HR processes
Experience in [insert industry-specific experience if applicable]
