We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to provide financial leadership and support across multiple client engagements. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys building strong relationships, improving financial processes, and helping organizations achieve their goals through sound financial management. Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted financial advisor and Controller for multiple clients
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to leadership
Manage month-end and year-end close processes
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities
Perform account reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation
Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts
Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies
Coordinate annual audits and support audit preparation
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiency
Provide training and guidance to accounting staff and client teams
Manage multiple client relationships while meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional service levels
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with accounting software and financial management systems
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience in public accounting, consulting, or outsourced accounting services preferred
CPA designation preferred but not required
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
