Job Summary
A growth-oriented advanced manufacturing organization in Riverside, CA is seeking an experienced Controller for a high-impact direct hire opportunity. This senior finance leadership role will oversee accounting and financial operations across multiple domestic and international business units in a complex, project-based manufacturing environment.
The Controller will work closely with executive leadership and play a key role in financial reporting, GAAP compliance, government contract accounting, ERP modernization, strategic planning, and operational improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Lead accounting and financial operations across multiple entities, including U.S. and international business units.
- Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, financial analysis, and executive reporting.
- Oversee GAAP compliance, ASC 606 revenue recognition, percentage-of-completion accounting, and government contract accounting requirements.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cash management, treasury, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking relationships.
- Monitor project accounting, job costing, inventory valuation, and financial controls within a manufacturing environment.
- Support ERP optimization, system integration initiatives, audit coordination, tax compliance, and strategic business planning.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $160,000 to $200,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Lead multi-entity accounting operations and consolidated financial reporting.
- Manage project-based manufacturing accounting, job costing, inventory valuation, and revenue recognition.
- Support ERP optimization, financial controls, budgeting, forecasting, and executive reporting.
- Oversee government contract accounting and FAR compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.
- Manufacturing industry experience required, preferably in a low-volume, high-mix environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and percentage-of-completion accounting.
- Experience with government contract accounting and applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations.
- Proven success leading accounting teams and developing finance staff.
- Experience managing multi-entity financial operations.
- Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving, growth-oriented organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA designation preferred.
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or corporate transactions.
- Experience with ERP implementations, system consolidations, or ERP modernization initiatives.
- Proficiency with NetSuite, Infor/Syteline, or comparable ERP systems.
- Experience with international accounting or multi-currency operations.
