We are seeking a hands-on Controller for a growing organization in the North San Diego County. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments, understands operational accounting, and enjoys building strong financial discipline within a team. Full-time, Monday- Friday, $125,000–$130,000 DOE
What You’ll Do:
-Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy across all financial reporting
-Manage cash flow and cash management processes
-Maintain and strengthen internal controls
-Oversee audits and ensure compliance with established accounting standards
-Support intercompany / inter-entity accounting activities
-Ensure accurate execution of accounting principles across all transactions
What We’re Looking For:
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
-Strong experience with accounting principles and general ledger oversight
-Background in retail environments (convenience store, fast food, or similar high-volume operations strongly preferred)
-Intercompany / inter-entity accounting experience
-Experience with cash management and internal controls
-Audit oversight experience
-Leadership experience (managing at least 1 direct report and developing talent)
-Experience with accounting systems such as Sage or Intacct (preferred)
