Financial Controller to lead our Accounting Department
This is a high-impact leadership role that influences company-wide financial strategy, interdepartmental collaboration, and client trust.
Main objectives
• Supervise the existing team to ensure deadlines for the department are met.
• Hold regular meetings with the accounting team and set expectations.
• Review the department, the responsibilities and restructure if and when needed.
• Be a people person and be available to key clients.
• Participate in occasional Board meetings for any special or complex matters.
• Participate in webinars where we lean on our controller to educate our clients.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a must).
• 5+ years of leadership experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar role.
• Direct experience managing HOA or property management accounting required.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Skilled in Vantaca, Strongroom, and other HOA accounting systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with executive leadership.
