leading player in the manufacturing industry, committed to delivering top-quality products while optimizing financial operations. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Interim Controller to support our finance team during a period of transition.

Position Overview:

As the Interim Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our manufacturing division, ensuring accurate accounting processes, tax filing compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance. This role is ideal for a CPA professional with strong experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.

Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of financial statements.

Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting procedures in line with industry best practices.

Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns.

Collaborate with senior management to provide financial analysis, cost analysis, and budgeting support for manufacturing operations.

Assist in preparing and reviewing audits, both internal and external.

Provide guidance on inventory valuation, cost allocation, and other manufacturing-specific accounting concerns.

Manage and mentor junior accounting staff, providing leadership during the interim period.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).

Licensing: CPA license (required).

Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on manufacturing operations.

Strong understanding of cost accounting, financial analysis, and manufacturing-related financial reporting.

Proven experience with tax compliance and filing.

Demonstrated ability to manage month-end and year-end close processes in a manufacturing environment.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
