Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Contracts Insurance Coordinator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Bossier City, LA. The Contracts Insurance Coordinator will support group medical reinsurance contracts, fully insured group policy documents, licensing maintenance, vendor communications, and client database accuracy. Key Responsibilities

- Review, interpret, and verify group medical reinsurance contracts for accuracy and notify internal teams of new stipulations.
- Review fully insured carrier group policies, including health, STD, LTD, Life, and AD&D documents, for accuracy and completeness.
- Check new and renewal group internal instructions before distributing documentation to appropriate departments.
- Maintain state licensing records for TPA operations and in-house staff with health and accident agent licenses.
- Complete client database entry, monthly report posting, spreadsheet updates, scanning, filing, and shared drive organization.
- Communicate with vendors, internal departments, and business contacts regarding new and renewal groups, Business Associate Agreements, and related documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $13 to $15 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Review and coordinate insurance contracts, reinsurance documents, policy files, and related administrative records.
- Maintain accurate licensing, client database, spreadsheet, report, and document management processes.
- Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and business contacts to support new and renewal group documentation.
- Support compliance-focused workflows that require accuracy, organization, and consistent follow-through.

- 1 to 2 years of related experience in insurance, contracts, policy administration, underwriting support, medical office administration, or a similar administrative role.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to review documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Proficiency with data entry, spreadsheets, electronic files, scanning, filing, and shared drive organization.
- Ability to manage multiple documentation tasks while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
- Professional communication skills for working with vendors, departments, and business contacts.
- Dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a structured office environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with group medical insurance, reinsurance, stop loss, TPA operations, or fully insured carrier policy documentation.
- Familiarity with health, STD, LTD, Life, AD&D, or Business Associate Agreement documentation.
- Previous experience maintaining licensing records or compliance-related administrative files.
