A well-established and highly reputable construction organization is seeking a Contract Administrator to join its Risk Management team in Fresno, CA. This role offers stability, growth potential, and the chance to work alongside experienced leaders who value professionalism and initiative.
What You’ll Do
As a key member of the Risk Management Department, you will provide critical administrative and contract support across multiple projects and departments. Your responsibilities will include:
Administrative & Department Support
Serve as a professional representative when interacting with the public, subcontractors, customers, and agencies
Provide administrative support to the Vice President of Risk Management and other company leaders
Answer phones, route messages, manage mail, and support day-to-day departmental operations
Contract & Documentation Management
Coordinate new job set-ups, ensuring accurate entries into internal systems (SharePoint, Viewpoint, Progress & Projections Subcontract Management Software, etc.)
Process subcontractor contracts, pay estimates, insurance requirements, lien waivers, and compliance documents
Maintain well-organized, secure electronic and physical files
Quality, Communication & Follow-Through
Ensure data accuracy and report inconsistencies
Prepare letters, templates, transmittals, bid forms, and various project documents
Manage time-sensitive tasks with strong follow-up and reliable execution
Uphold confidentiality and ethical business practices at all times
What You Bring
We're looking for a polished, proactive professional who is confident working independently while supporting multiple stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of administrative support experience (Construction industry experience strongly preferred)
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Professional, and ideally Viewpoint Construction Software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment
