Our team is looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent in the restaurant industry to schedule, coordinate, supervise, and manage all construction activities on a well-known Restaurant job site while providing on-site administrative and technical management of restaurant construction. You’ll supervise our staff and ensure projects are delivered on time.
This role requires excellent communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with various people, such as construction workers, architects, and engineers. To succeed, it’s important to know how to implement quality, health, and safety standards onsite.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule from issuance of Permit to Certificate of Occupancy. Includes interfacing with Teammates, subcontractors, vendors, building inspectors, city officials, etc.
• Maintain liaison with estimating and planning to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule.
• Assist with implementation/interpretation of safety programs. Monitor craft compliance with project safety program requirements; document and ensure corrective measures are implemented. Assume responsibility for productivity of subcontractors, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project.
• Maintain liaison with other on-site functions (i.e., Material Control, Purchasing, Quality Control, Engineering) to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections as well as support subcontractor/vendor activities and project schedule.
• Maintain official project log and documentation files. Assist project management in developing and implementing project procedures, working documents and standards.
• Manage and maintain a clean, organized, and high safety quality job site.
• Perform other ancillary duties as required by management.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, design team, co-workers, subcontractors, and all other outside parties critical to projects success; ensure close collaboration and communication. Maintain and keep other trades updated and current with revisions/bulletins, etc. and keep organized files and records for city inspections.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in Restaurant Construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedure.
• Ability to prepare and transmit RFIs, daily reports, weekly reports, and various clerical duties.
• Possess an advanced understanding of restaurant construction, scheduling, and cost control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Smartsheet, and Project 10 preferred.
• Represent the company in a professional and prideful manner.
• Ability to travel frequently.
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
