Construction Project Coordinator
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role works closely with project managers, field teams, and subcontractors to ensure timelines, documentation, and communication are aligned for successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Support project managers with daily coordination of construction projects
• Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure schedules are met
• Maintain and organize project documentation including contracts, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely execution of work
• Assist with procurement processes, including purchase orders and material tracking
• Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and assist with invoice processing
• Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting notes and action items
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, permits, and regulatory requirements
• Assist with project closeout including final documentation and reporting
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in construction coordination, project support, or related field
• Familiarity with construction processes, terminology, and documentation (RFIs, submittals, change orders)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with project management or construction software is a plus
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with field and office teams
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting commercial or multifamily construction projects
• Exposure to budgeting, cost tracking, or basic accounting processes
• Familiarity with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms
Work Environment
• Onsite role supporting both office and field operations
• May require site visits and coordination with active construction environments
