Mostly a desk job, might need to go on-site occasionally but this is rare. This is not a physically demanding job. As the Senior Project Manager/Construction Manager you will be managing off-site production, supervising multiple teams within the office and crews in the field, working closely with department managers to develop and maintain production schedules, negotiating contracts, overseeing vendor quality performance, and interacting with customers. Management of our field staff takes place from our administration headquarters due to the nature of our projects (short project duration and large geographic range). You will be responsible for ensuring production is cost-effective, all jobs are bought within a budget, and performance measures and planned efficiencies are met or exceeded through change management processes and best practices. Top Must Haves: 1. College Educated- Degree 2. Work Drive - committed to the company and its process... hands-on person, if something needs to be done, they are helping out. Someone who knows how to manage from day and communicate with various personnel. 3. 2-3 years of managing experience, ideally experience in the construction space or experience working as a project manager in manufacturing -- Responsibilities: Calling customers, calling foreman, following up and making sure they are ordering concrete, walking around the office. Manage the entire construction department, including office, field, and warehouse personnel. Manage all construction projects to ensure all materials and supplies are ordered and delivered in time and crews are scheduled to start the project per construction schedule. Communicate with construction crews, in-house and subcontractors to keep abreast of all needs and/or issues. Communicate with customers to resolve and/or prevent any issues with the construction process. Review and approve payroll for construction department personnel. Work with the accounting department to make sure all vehicles and equipment are properly maintained according to the maintenance schedule. Work with the Hiring Coordinator for all department staffing needs, both office and field staff -- Expectations: Hit the ground running with managing the department, staff, crews, and projects. Training will be provided on all company policies, procedures, and software. Become aware of the duties of the department's personnel within the first week. Communicate with Superintendents and Foremen to ensure all crews have what they need to be successful from day 1. **Please respond with your resume today!
