We are looking for a Construction Project Estimator to join our team and manage the full preconstruction lifecycle of assigned projects. Working closely with the Estimating Director, this role delivers accurate, timely cost estimates, supports contract development, and contributes to bid strategy and risk evaluation. Projects include bonded work, government-funded jobs, and urgent, time-sensitive initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
• Define project and contract scopes
• Analyze construction plans, specifications, and project documentation
• Prepare detailed line-item estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work
• Source, negotiate, and secure competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
• Evaluate productivity rates, market conditions, and cost-impacting data
• Assess financial, technical, and operational risks
• Participate in bid/no-bid decision-making
• Develop proposals and supporting documentation
• Conduct site visits to gather project-specific information
• Collaborate with bid managers, leadership, and internal teams
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
• Maintain accurate estimating records and prepare reports
• Stay current on construction technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements
Schedule & Availability
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call availability required after hours
Travel Requirements
• Some travel required, including travel to active project sites
Requirements
• 2–3 years of experience in construction estimating or a related role
• OSHA certification required
• HAZMAT certification required
• E-Rail certification a plus
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
