A growing construction firm in Charleston specializing in high-end custom residential projects is seeking a Construction Project Administrator to play a key role in both executive support and active project coordination. This is a high-visibility position offering direct exposure to leadership and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on how projects are managed and delivered.
In this role, you’ll support day-to-day operations across both the office and project teams, helping keep timelines, documentation, and communication running smoothly. Responsibilities:
-Manage executive scheduling, calendar coordination, travel, and correspondence
-Support daily office operations, including scheduling, supplies, and general administration
-Provide administrative support to project managers and field teams
-Maintain and organize project documentation (contracts, permits, change orders, work orders)
-Track project timelines, deliverables, and ensure deadlines are met
-Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients on scheduling, materials, and updates
-Assist with bids, proposals, and project closeout documentation
-Process invoices, track expenses, and support basic budget oversight
-Serve as a liaison between office staff and field teams to ensure smooth communication
-Help develop, improve, and maintain administrative and project workflows
-Ensure accurate record-keeping and document control across multiple projects
Requirements:
-Experience as a Project Administrator, Project Coordinator, or Executive Assistant within the construction industry
-Familiarity with construction processes, terminology, and documentation
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
-Excellent communication skills—comfortable interacting with executives, vendors, and field teams
-Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with project management or construction software is a plus)
-Comfortable working fully onsite in a collaborative, small-team environment
