We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Administrator to support our project management team. This role is essential in ensuring construction projects run smoothly by managing documentation, coordinating communication, and keeping timelines on track. The ideal candidate has prior experience in the construction industry and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to Project Managers and field teams
Maintain and organize project documentation, including contracts, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
Coordinate communication between subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
Assist with scheduling meetings, site visits, and inspections
Prepare reports, logs, and project updates
Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense tracking
Ensure compliance with company policies and construction regulations
Qualifications
2+ years of administrative experience in the construction industry (project admin/coordinator experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of construction documentation (RFIs, submittals, change orders, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience with construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar) is a plus
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously
Familiarity with budgeting and job cost tracking
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not required)
