Job Title: Field Services Technician
Job Overview:
The Field Services Technician is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing company and customer equipment at various locations including company facilities, client sites, and partner locations. This role provides critical technical support, ensures compliance with safety standards, and completes all necessary service documentation accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:
Receive and assess service requests; identify equipment issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions.

Conduct hands-on diagnostics, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs in shop or field environments.

Provide technical support to internal teams, customers, and business partners in person or remotely.

Determine necessary spare parts and suggest parts packages to minimize equipment downtime.

Coordinate service jobs with service departments and supervisor to ensure timely completion.

Complete service, yard, and damage reports accurately and submit as required.

Assist with the maintenance of technical manuals, service records, and department documentation.

Comply with company policies and safety procedures, including proper operation of tools, heavy equipment, and diagnostic systems.

Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
Education & Training:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Associate’s Degree in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems preferred.

Experience & Skills:

Minimum 2 years of relevant hands-on experience in equipment diagnostics and repair.

Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and service documents.

Physical & Travel Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; stand, kneel, crawl, climb, and work in varying environments.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and passport.

Willing and able to work overtime, weekends, on-call, and travel up to 80%, including international assignments.

Accountability:
Responsible for delivering efficient, high-quality service to both internal and external customers.

Supports operational efficiency by minimizing equipment downtime and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Plays a key role in enhancing company reputation, profitability, and service reliability.
