About the Opportunity:

AppleOne is working with a well-established commercial general contractor and developer seeking a seasoned Construction Estimator to join its growing team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, fast-expanding firm specializing in ground-up commercial construction projects across South Florida.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in estimating large, complex projects, a strong analytical mindset, and exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed budgets and estimates for ground-up commercial construction projects.

Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to ensure accurate takeoffs and scope comprehension.

Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project alignment and cost control.

Analyze historical data, market trends, and subcontractor pricing to prepare competitive bids.

Manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced preconstruction environment.

Lead estimating efforts and contribute to value engineering and project strategy discussions.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in ground-up construction estimating within the South Florida market.

Proven ability to estimate projects up to $30 million.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field — or 10+ years of equivalent experience.

Proficiency in industry-standard estimating and takeoff software.

Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate effectively within project teams.

Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.

What’s Offered:
