We are looking for a Construction Contract Administrator / Billing Person who is an experienced specialist with a personal history working for a multimillion-dollar construction company. The successful candidate will have a background providing invoicing for major public corporate clients requiring lien release procedure as well as progressive monthly project billing. Must have experience with prevailing wages / Davis Bacon wage rates and the compliance with HUD involved contracts. Experience with project financial close out package submission is also required. Must be service-oriented, with a positive demeanor and can-do attitude. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload. Confidentiality and discretion are always required.

Government arena.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Reviews and advises favorable contract terms to Director of Sales while
building positive relationships with company’s partners.
• Identifies and rectify any potential mistakes or discrepancies in contractual
documents.
• Serves as a point of contact for communication and resolution of contract
Issues and disputes to Director of Sales.
• Prepare and submit various invoicing documents/forms, including prevailing wage
Contracts
• Compile, verify, and process contracts, change orders, payments and invoices
• Prepare prevailing wage reports in compliance with the contract.
• Prepare the schedule of values for project managers and others as needed
• In-depth knowledge of conditional and unconditional waiver and release forms and ability to track incoming and needed waivers
• Reconcile project budgets throughout project and upon final billing
• Completes other related duties and special projects as assigned
• Contributes to team effort
• Must have experience of following software: Textura/Hyphen Solutions/
Procore, LCP Tracker and other online billing systems
Qualifications/or General Requirements:
• Proven work experience as an invoicing specialist or similar role
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to learn new skills and adapt to various databases quickly
• Detail oriented and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Must possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to comfortably interact with management, fellow employees, third parties, etc. in a positive manner
• Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks to adhere to deadlines
• Problem solver. Able to review accounting documents and locate potential errors for correction
Additional Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Construction industry experience
• Subcontractor construction industry experience, preferably a framing subcontractor
• Basic accounting background
• A/P-A/R Knowledge
• Knowledge of AIA Documents
• Can Complete OCIP enrollment forms
• Compliance review experience
• Collections background
• Journal entry processing
• General ledger knowledge
Education and Experience
• High school diploma
• Some college courses in Accounting
• Residential Subcontract experience preferred
• Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed
