We’re seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and experienced Construction Bid Coordinator to join our estimating team. This role is critical to our preconstruction process, supporting the coordination, preparation, and submission of competitive bids for commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
-Coordinate the preparation and submission of construction bids, RFIs, and proposals.
-Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents.
-Collaborate with estimators and project managers to assemble accurate bids.
-Use software tools like Bluebeam Revu, PlanHub, and other takeoff tools for quantity surveying and document management.
-Track and manage bid deadlines, subcontractor outreach, and bid invitations.
-Maintain an organized database of bid documentation and historical pricing.
-Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely bid submissions.
-Assist in compiling post-bid documentation and follow-up as needed.
Requirements:
-2–3 years of experience in construction estimating and bidding.
-Commercial construction experience is a must (retail, office, healthcare, industrial, etc.).
-Proficient in Bluebeam Revu and other takeoff/estimation software.
-Solid understanding of construction drawings, specs, and terminology.
-Strong organizational and time management skills.
-Excellent written and verbal communication.
-Ability to handle multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Nice to Have:
-Experience with platforms like Procore, BuildingConnected, or SmartBid.
-Background in working with General Contractors or Subcontractors.
-Familiarity with local/regional commercial construction markets.
