We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Construction Accounts Payable professional for a direct hire opportunity in Irvine, CA. Key Responsibilities
- Process high-volume, full-cycle accounts payable, including matching, batching, coding, and verifying invoices.
- Review invoices for accuracy, proper documentation, approval status, and correct coding.
- Prepare invoices for approval and coordinate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Cut checks and support timely vendor payment processing.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and assist with routine accounting documentation.
- Support the accounting department with vendor inquiries, invoice research, and payment follow-up.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year.
- Job Type: Direct Hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Process high-volume full-cycle accounts payable from invoice receipt through payment.
- Match, batch, code, verify, and route invoices for approval.
- Prepare checks and help ensure vendors are paid accurately and on time.
- Maintain organized accounts payable records and support invoice issue resolution.
- 3 to 5 years of accounts payable experience.
- High-volume full-cycle accounts payable experience is required.
- Strong invoice verification, coding, approval routing, and check processing experience.
- Experience working with vendor invoices, payment documentation, and discrepancy resolution.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Reliable, consistent, and able to demonstrate job stability and longevity.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced accounting environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Construction industry accounts payable experience is highly desired.
- Experience with Timberline or Sage is highly preferred.
- Residential, commercial, or office construction accounting experience is a plus.
