Community Engagement Coordinator
Make an impact in your community while building meaningful partnerships. We’re looking for a passionate, people-focused Community Engagement Coordinator with a strong background in Non-Profit, Housing, or Homeless Services to join our team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Build strong relationships with government agencies and LA County partners
Represent the organization at community and council meetings
Plan, organize, and execute community events, workshops, and trainings
Conduct community needs assessments and research
Coordinate logistics, outreach, staffing, and event execution
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Development, and internal teams
Monitor event budgets and support cross-departmental projects
Support initiatives focused on homeownership, preservation, and community revitalization
What We’re Looking For:
Bilingual English/Spanish – REQUIRED
Non-Profit experience (Housing or Homeless Services strongly preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Communications, or related field (preferred)
At least 2 years of non-profit experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
(Comfortable speaking in front of groups and at council meetings)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
Passion for community organizing and development
Available for evenings and weekends (mandatory)
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Valid California Driver’s License
Signed consent for Motor Vehicle Records check
