We are recruiting an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal in Miami, FL. Responsibilities
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected national law firm and support sophisticated commercial real estate transactions and financing matters.
Responsibilities
- Review title commitments, surveys, and related documents
- Coordinate with title companies to obtain title commitments and policies and resolve title issues
- Conduct due diligence reviews
- Support commercial real estate closings from preparation through completion
- Draft deeds, mortgages, UCC financing statements, closing instructions, and other transactional and financing documents
- Prepare and organize closing documents and binders
- Handle electronic recordings and official-record searches
- Assist with forming corporations, limited liability companies, and other business entities
- Communicate directly with clients and independently manage assigned matters
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of commercial real estate transactional and financing paralegal experience
- Prior experience in a law firm is required
- Strong knowledge of title, survey, due diligence, financing, and commercial closing processes
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience using electronic document-management systems. Filesite experience is a plus. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply with an updated resume for immediate consideration.
