Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity in the Sherman Oaks and Van Nuys, CA area. This full time role is ideal for a hands on property management professional who enjoys overseeing multiple properties, supporting onsite teams, maintaining strong property standards, and delivering excellent service to residents, tenants, owners, and vendors.

The Commercial Property Supervisor will work closely with property staff, vendors, residents, owners, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations, strong compliance, timely maintenance, and positive property performance. Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily operations for a portfolio of commercial and residential properties, including property performance, maintenance, leasing support, and tenant or resident relations.
- Supervise, train, coach, and support onsite property staff, including resident managers and leasing personnel.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure properties are clean, safe, well maintained, and operating according to company standards.
- Coordinate vendors, maintenance requests, repairs, turnovers, move ins, move outs, and capital improvement projects.
- Review budgets, monthly income and expenses, rent collections, delinquencies, reports, and property financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with landlord tenant regulations, Fair Housing requirements, local housing ordinances, and internal documentation standards.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary: $78,000 to $85,000 per year.
- Employment Type: Direct hire, full time.
- Location: Sherman Oaks and Van Nuys, CA area.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Oversee multi property operations for commercial and residential assets.
- Lead onsite teams, vendors, maintenance coordination, inspections, and property readiness.
- Monitor budgets, rent collections, expenses, compliance, and property reporting.
- Resolve escalated resident, tenant, owner, vendor, and operational issues professionally.

- Active California Real Estate License is required.
- 3 to 5 plus years of progressive property management experience, preferably with portfolio or multi property oversight.
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to supervise, coach, support, and hold onsite teams accountable.
- Experience conducting property inspections, coordinating maintenance, managing vendors, and overseeing unit turnovers.
- Working knowledge of residential property operations, leasing, tenant relations, compliance, and property performance standards.
- Strong understanding of landlord tenant regulations, Fair Housing requirements, and local housing ordinances.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Excellent communication, organization, attention to detail, discretion, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, take initiative, identify operational issues, and respond professionally to sensitive situations.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with property management software such as Yardi, Rent Manager, or similar systems.
- Prior experience supporting both commercial and residential property portfolios.
- Experience assisting with capital improvement projects and property performance improvement initiatives.
