A growing commercial real estate firm in Charleston is seeking a Commercial Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of retail and office properties across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. This is a high-impact role offering ownership of day-to-day operations, tenant relationships, and financial performance across multiple assets.
This position is ideal for someone with direct commercial property management experience who enjoys managing multiple properties, working with tenants and vendors, and driving operational efficiency. You’ll play a key role in maintaining property performance while partnering with leadership on budgets, reporting, and long-term asset success.
Responsibilities:
-Manage day-to-day operations of retail and office properties
-Serve as the main point of contact for commercial tenants
-Coordinate tenant move-ins, move-outs, and lease administration
-Oversee maintenance, inspections, and vendor services
-Manage rent collections, tenant charges, and issue resolution
-Develop and track property budgets and financial reports
-Handle CAM, tax, and insurance reconciliations
-Ensure compliance with lease terms, insurance requirements, and property standards
-Coordinate with vendors and contractors, including bidding and contract management
-Maintain accurate tenant, lease, and vendor records
Requirements:
-Must have 3-5 years of recent commercial property management experience. Residential-only experience will not be considered for this role
-Experience must include management of retail and/or office properties
-Bachelor’s degree preferred
-Experience with property management and accounting systems (Sage 300/Timberline, RentManager)
-Strong understanding of budgets, reconciliations, and financial reporting
-Highly organized with strong attention to detail
-Excellent communication and tenant-facing skills
-Ability to manage multiple properties and priorities
