A growing commercial real estate firm in Charleston is seeking a Commercial Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of retail and office properties across the Southeast and Midatlantic. This will include properties such as retail, office, industrial, and mixed use businesses. This role is ideal for someone who has 3-5 years of direct experience managing commercial asset portfolios.
Responsibilities:
-Manage day-to-day operations of retail and office properties
-Serve as the main point of contact for commercial tenants
-Coordinate tenant move-ins, move-outs, and lease administration
-Oversee maintenance, inspections, and vendor services
-Manage rent collections, tenant charges, and issue resolution
-Develop and track property budgets and financial reports
-Handle CAM, tax, and insurance reconciliations
-Ensure compliance with lease terms, insurance requirements, and property standards
-Coordinate with vendors and contractors, including bidding and contract management
-Maintain accurate tenant, lease, and vendor records
Requirements:
-Must have 3-5 years of recent commercial property management experience. Residential-only experience will not be considered for this role.
-Experience must include management of retail and/or office properties
-Bachelor’s degree preferred
-Experience with property management and accounting systems (Sage 300/Timberline, RentManager)
-Strong understanding of budgets, reconciliations, and financial reporting
-Highly organized with strong attention to detail
-Excellent communication and tenant-facing skills
-Ability to manage multiple properties and priorities
