Seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Processor. This role is responsible for performing a wide range of duties related to the processing of Commercial Loans, Construction loans, and Standby Letters of Credit, ensuring all activities are completed in accordance with established bank policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal banking regulations. The Commercial Loan Processor works closely with loan officers, customers, title and escrow companies, attorneys, brokers, insurance providers, construction contractors, and other third parties to gather and compile complete and accurate loan files for underwriting. This includes reviewing submissions, identifying missing documentation, obtaining required financial, collateral, and construction-related documents, securing title endorsements, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements such as RESPA, Reg B, OFAC, HMDA, Adverse Action, and Flood Insurance. The successful candidate will manage the loan closing process from start to finish, ensuring all conditions and documentation meet bank and regulatory standards, including any subsequent updates and final reports. The role requires consistent use of various software systems and online tools, a strong commitment to customer service, and professional communication with both internal and external partners to promote the company’s image and values. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of four years of experience as a Commercial Loan Processor, strong knowledge of underwriting documentation and lending compliance regulations, familiarity with bond financing documentation, and a solid understanding of loan closing processes, including flood insurance guidelines. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, the ability to multitask, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential. Experience with commercial and construction loans, standby letters of credit, and systems such as BakerHill NextGen (CLOS) and Fiserv DNA is highly desirable.
