Downtown AV-Rated Orlando law firm seeks experienced commercial litigation paralegal to join our Litigation team. Candidate must have 5+ years of experience and working knowledge of State and Federal Courts electronic filing systems, emphasis on E-Discovery capabilities a must. Windows10, Office 365, Microsoft Office products including Word/Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro required; experience working in cloud-based network environment a plus, not required.
Must have a positive attitude, be a team player, strong computer skills, high attention to detail, ability to multi-task, demonstrate problem solving skills and flexibility.
Primary duties will include:
Conduct pre-claim investigation, legal research and initial case assessments, assist with drafting pleadings, motions and appellate documents, perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics), maintain pleadings and discovery indexes, organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices, aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests, provide assistance with case settlement documents, and liaise between attorney and clients. Working experience in State and Federal Courts electronic filing systems, emphasis on E-Discovery capabilities a must.
