About the Role
As a Commercial Lines Account Representative, you will support agents and clients while managing a range of underwriting, service, and marketing-related tasks. You’ll handle submissions, renewals, quotes, policy changes, and client communication while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service. This is an onsite role, and candidates must be local and able to work from the Fresno office five days per week during training.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, update, and process submission applications in AMS360
Manage expiration lists, renewal requests, loss runs, MVRs, endorsements, and certificates of insurance
Review applications, submit to carriers, negotiate pricing, and review quotes with agents
Create proposals, bind coverage, issue invoicing, and maintain accurate policy documentation
Maintain AMS suspense, carrier files, and marketing databases while ensuring reporting accuracy
Communicate with clients, agents, and underwriters regarding coverage, renewals, and policy changes


Required Qualifications:

2–3 years of experience in the insurance industry (Commercial Lines preferred)
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license strongly preferred
Experience with AMS360 is a major plus
Solid understanding of Property & Casualty insurance, underwriting processes, and carrier submissions
Proficiency in Outlook and Word; familiarity with Excel; ability to type at least 35 wpm
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks accurately
Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, carriers, and internal teams
