Job Summary Required Qualifications and Skills
- Pay Rate: $39.84 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Assignment Length: 18 months.
- Location: McLean, VA 22102.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote per week.
This role supports a commercial loan insurance compliance within a Fortune 500 banking company, with a focus on insurance policy review, renewal tracking, investor guideline compliance, and servicing support.
Key Responsibilities
- Review insurance certificates, policies, statements of values, invoices, and related documentation for compliance with investor guidelines and loan requirements.
- Track insurance renewals and obtain invoices, paid receipts, and evidence of insurance within required timelines.
- Review loan documents, appraisals, engineering reports, seismic reports, and Phase I environmental reports to determine loan-specific insurance requirements.
- Serve as a key point of contact for insurance questions, coverage requirements, exceptions, and investor guideline interpretation.
- Process insurance waivers and exceptions with appropriate supporting documentation for non-compliant insurance matters.
- Maintain accurate insurance data in servicing systems and support lender reporting and servicing insurance teams as needed.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in insurance compliance, commercial insurance, insurance risk, loan servicing, or a related financial services environment.
- Experience reviewing commercial insurance coverage, policy documents, certificates of insurance, invoices, and evidence of insurance.
- Understanding of investor insurance guidelines, loan documents, and insurance compliance requirements.
- Ability to interpret loan-specific insurance requirements using appraisals, engineering reports, environmental reports, and related documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, follow-up skills, and deadline management.
- Professional communication skills with the ability to serve as a point of contact for insurance questions and requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting commercial mortgage servicing, banking, consumer lending, or commercial real estate loan portfolios.
- Familiarity with GSE or investor insurance guideline compliance.
- Experience using enterprise servicing systems, Salesforce, or similar workflow and data management platforms.
- Knowledge of casualty insurance provisions and the insurance claim process.
