Location: Dallas, TX (Remote when not on site) Salary: $80,000 annually Employment Type: Direct Hire Benefits: Full Benefits Package Included We are seeking an experienced Punch List Manager ( Commercial Construction Project Manager ) to join the owner’s representative team on a high-profile hospitality construction project in Dallas, TX. This is a hybrid role offering remote flexibility when not required onsite. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in managing punch list processes, particularly on the owner's side of construction, with a focus on delivering high-quality finished spaces on schedule.
Commercial Construction Project Manager - Key Responsibilities: Serve as a liaison between ownership and the general contractor to manage and drive completion of all punch list items in alignment with room turnover schedules. Monitor progress of room and area completions, proactively identifying and escalating issues that could impact timely delivery. Maintain and regularly update detailed punch lists, tracking deficiencies and coordinating resolutions with the contractor. Ensure all punch items are documented clearly and resolved to ownership standards prior to turnover. Communicate effectively with the project team, including the property General Manager, Director of Engineering, and construction partners. Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and verify punch list completion. Support quality assurance and final closeout processes.
Commercial Construction Project Manager - Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of construction experience, with a focus on interiors/finishes and hospitality environments. Strong background working on the owner’s side of construction is highly preferred. Proficient in punch list management and field coordination. Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and represent ownership interests professionally on-site. Flexibility to work remote when not required on-site; must be local to or able to commute to Dallas, TX, as needed.
