What You’ll Do
As a key financial partner to our project teams, you’ll be responsible for overseeing job costs, ensuring compliance, and driving financial clarity from project kickoff to closeout. Your day-to-day will include:
Managing the financial health of assigned construction projects through budget tracking, cost analysis, and job cost management
Partnering with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to process invoices, purchase orders, and change orders with accuracy and efficiency
Preparing monthly billing to owners and verifying compliance with lien waivers, insurance certificates, and contract terms

Supporting revenue forecasts, cost-to-complete evaluations, and project performance reporting
Ensuring adherence to internal accounting standards, GAAP, and project-specific financial requirements
Tracking open commitments, pending invoices, and change orders to ensure accurate projections
Reconciling project financials including job cost ledgers, retainage, and accruals in collaboration with the corporate accounting team
Assisting with audits, internal reviews, and external financial reporting
Maintaining organized and up-to-date financial documentation within platforms like Procore and Sage 300

What You Bring to the Table
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
3–5 years of accounting experience, within commercial construction, civil, or energy sectors
Hands-on knowledge of construction accounting platforms such as Sage 300 CRE, Procore, or similar
Solid understanding of AIA billing, job cost accounting, and project forecasting
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Highly organized with a knack for juggling multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines
Familiarity with lien laws, tax compliance, and subcontractor documentation is a plus
A proactive, solution-focused mindset and sharp attention to detail
