We're looking for an Estimator who thrives on turning drawings and data into actionable insight. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a deep understanding of commercial construction, and the ability to translate plans into accurate, well-researched estimates - you could be the missing piece we need.
In this role, your estimates won't just set budgets - they'll guide teams, shape strategies, and help ensure project success from the very first take-off to final pricing.
What You'll Do:
-Develop detailed cost estimates for mid-sized commercial construction projects
-Analyze plans and specs to perform accurate quantity take-offs
-Create conceptual and preconstruction budgets from early-phase designs
-Manage final pricing efforts: vet subcontractors, coordinate bid forms, and identify risks
-Collaborate closely with operations during buyout and execution
-Build strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and industry partners
-Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings and industry events as a key project representative
What You Bring:
-3+ years of experience in estimating commercial construction projects
-5+ years overall in commercial construction
-Confidence across all major scopes - from structural work to finishes
-Proficiency in take-off software and Microsoft Office tools
-Strong communication and collaboration skills -you're comfortable both leading and listening
-Knowledge of local subcontractors markets is a bonus
-Ability to estimate across a range of project phases, from conceptual to hard bid
