We are seeking a motivated and professional Collections Representative to join our team at our Orange, CA location. This role is responsible for collecting on delinquent accounts receivable across multiple business units while maintaining strong customer relationships and compliance with company credit policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect on delinquent accounts receivable for multiple business units
Review delinquency and aging reports and apply appropriate collection techniques
Contact past-due customers via phone and written communication to secure payment or establish payment arrangements
Negotiate payment plans using sound judgment within company policy guidelines
Review account details and maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit files
Manage established credit limits and submit requests for credit line increases when appropriate
Document collection activity and maintain detailed account notes
Perform additional related duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or credit
Experience working with aging reports and high-volume accounts
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate professionally with customers at all levels
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills
Comfortable working with accounting or ERP systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams
