Credit & Collections Specialist
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Summary
The Credit & Collections Specialist is responsible for managing accounts receivable activities, including credit evaluation, collections, and account reconciliation. This role ensures timely payments, minimizes financial risk, and maintains strong relationships with customers by providing consistent follow-up and resolution of outstanding balances.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and manage assigned accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
Conduct follow-ups with customers via phone and email to secure payments and resolve discrepancies.
Evaluate customer creditworthiness and support credit approval processes.
Reconcile customer accounts, identifying and resolving billing issues or payment discrepancies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and communications.
Collaborate with internal teams such as billing, sales, and finance to resolve account issues efficiently.
Prepare aging reports and provide updates on collection status and risk exposure.
Negotiate payment arrangements when necessary while maintaining positive customer relationships.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls.
Support month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.

Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in credit, collections, or accounts receivable.
Strong understanding of AR processes, aging reports, and reconciliation practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
