As a Recovery Representative I and play a key role in resolving returned items, supporting clients, and protecting company revenue.
This full-time, in-office role offers an 11AM–8PM shift.
Responsibilities:
Accurately and efficiently resolve bank returned items.
Provide quality customer service while mitigating risk to the company.
Educate clients, branches, and product areas on resolution processes and alternative service options.
Develop and maintain knowledge of products and systems, including Taxpay, Direct Deposit, Readychex, Garnishments, 401(k), Workers’ Compensation, Health & Benefits, National Health FSA, FSA Debit Card, and Advantage.
Research and resolve product and service issues from clients and field teams.
Handle client objections with mentor support and manage return-to-completion to recover lost revenue.
Process daily returns, EDI payment reports, and payroll hold reports accurately and on time.
Maintain daily call requirements and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
Evaluate client status to determine appropriate service while mitigating risk.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) and NACHA.
Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
Collection experience required.
High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience in customer service, finance, accounting, or payroll.
Call center experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
