Title: Collections Representative
Location: Hawthorne, NY 10532 (Onsite)
Assignment: ASAP – 2 months (possibility of extension or temp to hire)
Hours: Monday – Friday: 8am- 5pm EST
Pay: $22.00 an hour – PAID WEEKLY
Special Instructions: Must pass criminal background check
Responsibilities:
• Reviews open invoices to identify delinquent accounts.
• Initiates collection calls.
• Research account discrepancies.
• Communicates collection results/problems with national Account Managers.
• Take complete ownership of managing information to various associates regarding correct billing and customer satisfaction on accounts.
• Makes applicable notes in system as to any pertinent collection activity or customer contact. Other duties as assigned.
Education/Skills/Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• One or more years of related work experience in a customer service/collections environment, demonstrating the ability to provide excellent customer service to all customers.
• Demonstrates a general understanding of Corporate Account selling cycles, S.P.I.N. Model Selling, and the willingness to participate as an active member of a contract negotiation team.
• Demonstrates good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and a general knowledge of general database use
