We are seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team, responsible for managing soft collections on outstanding receivables while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will foster strong customer partnerships and collaborate closely with credit analysts to resolve payment issues and maintain healthy cash flow.

Key Responsibilities:
-Contact customers via phone, email, and other channels to follow up on overdue invoices with a respectful, customer-focused approach.
-Review and monitor accounts receivable aging reports to identify delinquent accounts.
-Document all collection activities, customer interactions, and payment commitments accurately.
-Collaborate with credit analysts to evaluate payment trends and resolve complex payment issues.
-Provide prompt, clear responses to customer inquiries regarding account status, billing, and payments.
-Negotiate payment plans and deadlines while maintaining positive relationships.
-Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
-Build trust with customers to avoid future collection issues.

Qualifications:
-Proven experience in collections, accounts receivable, or B2B customer service.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
-Ability to collaborate effectively with credit, finance, and other teams.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
-Familiarity with credit analysis processes is a plus.
