JOB OPENING: Collections Representative (B2B)
Location: Orange, Ca
Temp-to-Hire | Full-Time
Pay range: $25–$28/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-5pm
We have an urgent opening for an experienced Collections Representative to join our team in Orange, CA. This role is replacing a prior employee, so we’re looking for someone who can step in quickly and make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and collect on delinquent accounts receivable across multiple business units
Review aging reports and prioritize collection efforts
Contact past-due customers via phone and email to secure payment or negotiate payment plans
Utilize effective collection strategies while maintaining positive client relationships
Maintain accurate and up-to-date account and credit file information
Monitor and manage established credit lines; request increases when appropriate
Collaborate with internal teams and perform additional duties as needed
Qualifications:
5–10 years of solid B2B collections experience required
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and use sound judgment within company guidelines
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
