Key Responsibilities

- Manage assigned customer accounts and follow up on past-due balances in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate with customers regarding payment status, account questions, discrepancies, and resolution plans.
- Partner with sales, collections, and internal finance teams to support accurate account management and payment activity.
- Research and help resolve billing issues, payment discrepancies, short payments, and account concerns.
- Maintain accurate collection notes, account records, and follow-up activity in internal systems.
- Support overall collections goals by promoting timely payments while maintaining positive customer relationships.

- Manage assigned accounts receivable collections activity and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve payment issues and account discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate collection documentation and support efficient payment processing.
- Help support team collection goals while preserving professional customer relationships.

- 3 to 5 years of collections experience.
- Experience in accounting, finance, accounts receivable, credit, or commercial collections.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal departments.
- Ability to research account issues, identify discrepancies, and support timely resolution.
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and service-focused approach to collections and customer support.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or business-to-business collections environment.
- Familiarity with ERP, accounting, or accounts receivable systems.
- Ability to partner effectively with sales teams while maintaining collection priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
