We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Clinical Instructor to join our growing academic team in South Florida. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a nursing professional to mentor and guide nursing students through hands-on clinical experiences across a variety of healthcare settings.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, demonstrate strong clinical expertise, and foster a supportive learning environment that promotes professional growth and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Instruction & Supervision
Provide direct supervision, instruction, and evaluation of nursing students in clinical settings.
Demonstrate and teach best practices in patient care across diverse clinical areas.
Ensure compliance with clinical site policies and safety standards.
Deliver timely, constructive feedback and maintain accurate performance documentation.
Support students in developing critical thinking, professionalism, and clinical judgment skills.

Curriculum & Educational Support
Collaborate with faculty and leadership to align clinical instruction with course objectives.
Incorporate evidence-based practices and current nursing standards into teaching activities.
Participate in curriculum review and evaluation processes as needed.

Professional Communication & Collaboration
Serve as a liaison between the school, clinical site staff, and students.
Maintain effective communication with academic leadership and clinical partners.
Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Administrative Duties
Accurately document attendance, student progress, and evaluations.
Report student concerns or clinical site issues promptly to leadership.
Ensure compliance with institutional, state, and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
Active, unencumbered Florida or Compact RN license (required).
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (required).
BLS certification (required).
Minimum 3 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse (required).
Prior teaching, clinical instruction, or preceptorship experience (preferred).

Skills & Competencies
Strong clinical knowledge and patient care experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to mentor students and provide clear, constructive feedback.
Proficient with electronic documentation and Microsoft Office.
Committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethics.

Additional Requirements
Must reside within commuting distance of Fort Lauderdale, FL., Stuart, Jupiter, Boyton Beach, West Palm Beach
On-site position; not remote.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings.
