Overview:
The Client Services Banker is responsible for delivering exceptional service to clients, prospects, and internal team members across all communication channels—including in person, phone, and email. This role combines customer service, banking operations, and new account management to support the branch’s overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Service Excellence
Provide outstanding customer service in every client interaction.
Build rapport with walk-in clients and foster lasting relationships.
Maintain a polished, professional appearance and demeanor.
Banking Operations
Demonstrate a strong understanding of daily banking procedures.
Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Review and complete operational reports and tasks accurately.
Mitigate risk by adhering to established operational protocols.
New Account Management
Serve as the primary contact for opening new accounts.
Maintain expert knowledge of all bank products, services, and fees.
Guide clients to appropriate services or departments when needed.
Accurately input account data and ensure proper documentation based on account ownership and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with relationship managers and internal departments to enhance the client experience.
Teller Functions
Perform all teller transactions efficiently and with attention to detail.
Maintain and balance assigned cash drawer in accordance with policy.
Support new team member training when necessary.
Other Duties
Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned by management.
