Job Title: New Accounts / Customer Service Representative II (CSR II)
Location: Brea, CA
Job Type: Full-Time

We’re seeking a New Accounts / CSR II to join our dynamic banking team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and skilled in both banking operations and client service. If you have experience as a teller and are ready to take the next step in your banking career, this is a great opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:
• Open and support consumer and basic business accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs)
• Conduct client interviews to understand financial needs and recommend appropriate banking products
• Cross-sell bank products and services to new and existing customers
• Maintain strong product knowledge and stay up to date on procedures and compliance requirements
• Accurately process teller transactions as needed and maintain a strong balancing record
• Ensure all account documentation is complete and uploaded into the system
• Respond to client inquiries in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner
• Identify and retain at-risk customers by providing proactive solutions and support
• Deliver an exceptional client experience and maintain positive relationships
• Adhere to all bank policies and regulatory requirements, including the Bank Secrecy Act
• Complete a minimum of 10 hours of CRA volunteer service per year (within paid business hours, with reimbursed mileage)

Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of banking teller experience required
• Experience in opening basic business accounts preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and banking software systems
