Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cleanroom Technician for a full-time, on-site contract-to-hire opportunity in Hayward, CA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented manufacturing professional with cleanroom, semiconductor, parts cleaning, packaging, or precision production experience.

As a Cleanroom Technician, you will support critical cleaning, bake out, inspection, assembly, marking, and packaging activities for customer parts made from materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, copper, quartz, ceramic, titanium, bronze, anodized aluminum, and nickel. This position offers the opportunity to work in a structured, quality-focused production environment where accuracy, cleanliness, teamwork, and safety are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform bake out processes for customer parts that require drying after wet cleaning.
- Clean parts using approved methods, including physical cleaning and IPA wipe procedures when required.
- Assemble, test, clean, part mark, and package customer orders according to specifications, prints, photos, travelers, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Handle and package precision components carefully to ensure proper protection, sealing, cleanliness, and final presentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized cleanroom work area through scheduled and as-needed housekeeping.
- Follow quality, safety, and production procedures while accurately recording and communicating work status and data.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $22 to $25 per hour.
- Contract/temporary opportunity with temp-to-hire potential.
- Full-time, on-site work is required.
- Location: Hayward, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Perform cleanroom cleaning, bake out, part marking, assembly, testing, and packaging activities.
- Follow customer specifications, travelers, prints, photos, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Package customer parts daily with careful attention to protection, sealing, and cleanliness.
- Maintain cleanroom safety, housekeeping, and production quality standards.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant manufacturing, production, cleanroom, or related operations experience preferred.
- Ability to follow detailed and complex written or visual instructions.
- Basic computer and cell phone skills for sending, receiving, and recording production data.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based production environment.
- Ability to work with or around parts made from stainless steel, aluminum, copper, nickel, anodized aluminum, quartz, ceramic, titanium, bronze, and similar materials.
- Ability to wear required safety equipment for extended periods, including cleanroom garments, boots, coveralls, head covering, steel-toed safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
- Ability to perform duties in cleanroom attire for extended periods of up to 8 hours.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
- Semiconductor industry experience.
- Experience packaging metal parts, precision components, or other delicate manufactured objects.
- Familiarity with handling parts made from stainless steel, aluminum, copper, nickel, and anodized metals.
