This Cleanroom Assembler Position Features:
• Onsite Plano, TX
• Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Cleanroom, regulated medical device manufacturing
• Pay $18.25/hr
Job Summary:
This onsite Medical Device Assembler role focuses on the precise assembly, inspection, and documentation of medical device components in a cleanroom environment. You will follow strict procedures, quality guidelines, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure consistent, compliant production of life-enhancing medical products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble and inspect medical devices following detailed work instructions, specifications, and cleanroom standards.
• Perform wiring, component installation, fitting, and subassembly work using hand tools, limited automated equipment, and assembly fixtures.
• Conduct quality checks, functional tests, verification, and calibration activities to ensure product accuracy and reliability.
• Document production activities accurately, including inspection data, device build records, and material tracking.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, cleanroom protocols, FDA, and ISO quality requirements.
• Identify and report non-conformances; support basic troubleshooting to keep production flow consistent.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• Experience in microscope, medical device assembly, electronics assembly, or general manufacturing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small components in a cleanroom environment.
• Ability to follow written instructions, diagrams, and device specifications precisely.
• Comfortable working in a regulated production environment with strict hygiene and documentation expectations.
Work Environment:
• Cleanroom setting requiring gowning, PPE, and adherence to sterile/contamination-control protocols.
• Fast-paced manufacturing environment with emphasis on quality, accuracy, and teamwork.
