The Class A Driver/Receiving Supervisor is responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers for pickups and deliveries, managing receiving operations, and maintaining an organized storage yard. This role includes coordinating trailer movements, using forklifts, tracking inventory, and supporting the flow of donated and purchased goods. The position collaborates with management to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
• Drive tractor-trailers for pickups and drop-offs of donated and purchased goods.
• Assist in loading and unloading trailers.
• Operate forklifts to keep the yard clean, safe, and organized.
• Track and maintain inventory records for storage areas.
• Follow proper receiving procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with management to ensure smooth product movement between locations.
• Document incoming shipments and track pallet counts.
• Evaluate receiving and storage areas to maintain organization.
• Schedule pickups and deliveries with a focus on timeliness and customer service.
• Communicate overstock issues to help guide inventory management decisions.
• Assist with waste and recycling processing and removal.
• Follow all operational procedures and safety standards.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented environment for staff and volunteers.

Qualifications:
• Valid Class A driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Certified or trained in forklift operation.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 4–6 years of related driving and receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
• Basic math skills, including percentages and volume.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Proficient with basic computer programs like Word, Excel, and email.

Additional Information:
• This role does not supervise employees but may provide guidance to staff and volunteers.
• Must comply with all safety procedures and policies.
