Claims Associate – Temp to Hire | Sunrise, FL | $19–$21/hour | Onsite

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Claims Associate to join a growing team in Sunrise, FL. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering a supportive, collaborative environment and the chance to make a meaningful impact helping customers through the claims process.

About the Role
In this position, you’ll process and review member claims with accuracy and empathy, ensuring each case is handled with the highest level of customer care. You’ll communicate with providers, verify coverage, and assist members with questions throughout the claim adjudication process.
Key Responsibilities
· Set up and process new claims while ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
· Interact with providers to gather additional details as needed for claim review.
· Evaluate coverage, verify eligibility, and prepare supporting documentation.
· Communicate claim updates and explanations to members clearly and compassionately.
· Provide professional support via phone, email, and chat.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of benefit coverage and claim procedures.

Qualifications
· 2+ years of experience in medical claims or billing.
· Familiarity with medical terminology, codes, and insurance EOB forms.
· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Customer service experience in a professional office environment.
· High school diploma required; some college preferred.

Schedule & Pay
· Full-time, onsite position in Sunrise, FL
· Monday–Friday, standard business hours
· Temp-to-hire | $19–$21/hour (based on experience)
